My repair process includes carefully applied raw-edge appliqué to reinforce worn areas, and patching larger rips or tears with fabrics that closely match the quilt’s original style and era. Every effort is made to honor the quilt’s time period, construction, and fabric design, ensuring the finished piece remains true to its story.

🧵 Repair Pricing & Process:

• Base price: $450 per quilt (due to the intensive handwork and time required)

• Final pricing will be determined after an in-person consultation, based on the extent of the damage and work needed

• If your quilt requires new batting, backing, or binding, recommendations will be made during the initial assessment

All restoration work is approached with sensitivity and a commitment to blending fabrics in a way that complements the original quilt. Wherever possible, vintage-style materials will be used to maintain the authenticity of the piece.

📅 Timeline & Deposit:

• Turnaround time: Approximately 4–6 months, depending on the scope of the project

• A 50% deposit is required to begin the work
